See what they have done there? Unmasked. Revealed, explained (scripts, sketches and artwork included ) and as an alternative to dual identity superhero comics. And at the British Library no less. There's respectability. Featuring the usual intellectually approved but also mainstream and underground stuff too - even includes a selection of sex related comics with Parental guidance warning - the exhibition looks at British comics from 1825 to the present. I quote " Enter the subversive and revelatory world of comics, from the earliest pioneers to today’s digital innovators." Well, I sure wish I was in your part of the world right about now, Arthur! Will anything by your esteemed self be there? Arthur, I hope you're well. I sent an email to you a couple weeks back! I hope it reached you!

The first thing I thought when I saw your latest post is that comics, or rather, for me, comic art, is an unhealthy obsession! Well, maybe not unhealthy, but definitely an obsession!

Best, Bheki!

Hullo Bheki,

applying the no links policy have edited part of your comment but taken note of it.

The British Library will have my work as they collect all published material. I don't know whether any of it is included in the exhibition.
(Later addition - Seems very unlikely that anything I did is in this show since its chosen theme is 'subversion' and its choices seem made to present comics is as an overtly anti-establishment form - not something my work  would expect to be accused of. )

Never got the email I'm afraid.

No certainly nothing unhealthy about being a comics fan.

Best,
Arthur
