Painter Howard Hodgkin collected Indian paintings (“I just wanted great art”). The Ashmolean Museum of Arts and Archaeology . University of Oxford have put 115 of these. paintings from the Mughal period (c.1550 - 1850), on display 2 February - 22 April 2012.
